Toronto, ON – CSDC Systems Inc., a leading supplier of business process automation software for governments, today announced the strategic hire of Tim Carl. Mr. Carl is the former Development and Transportation Director in Jefferson County, Colorado and comes to CSDC with over 20 years of public sector experience. Mr. Carl joins CSDC as Strategic Account Director where he will lend his knowledge, experience and a fresh perspective to CSDC’s growing client base. “We’re very excited to have Tim join our management team at CSDC, Tim brings tremendous talent and an in-depth understanding of how City, County and State government organizations operate,” said Nitish Mukhi, VP Business Development. “His background complements CSDC’s growing services in Permitting, Planning, Inspections and Licensing and he will play a crucial role as one of CSDC’s thought leaders in these areas.” While at Jefferson County, Mr. Carl oversaw six (6) Divisions as part of Development & Transportation activities. These divisions included the Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport, Building Safety, Community Development, Highways & Transportation, Planning & Zoning and Road & Bridge. Mr. Carl oversaw an operating budget of $64 million annually. In addition, responsibilities included project management and overview of over $15 million in Capital Improvement Program projects related to infrastructure and development activities. Over 325 staff made up the Development and Transportation Department. A graduate of California Polytechnic State University in 1991, Mr. Carl holds a Bachelor's Degree in City and Regional Planning and a Master's Degree in Urban Planning from the University of Colorado, Denver. In August 2010, Mr. Carl will complete his MBA from the University of Denver. Mr. Carl is an active member in the American Public Works Association and the Urban Land Institute and received certification in 2001 as a planner from the American Planning Association's American Institute of Certified Planners.
